Arsenal Travel To Old Trafford With Season On A Knife’s Edge

Arsené’s Young Guns travel to Manchester to be given one last chance at the title.

This truly is the last chance for Arsenal this season. Out of the Carling Cup, out of the FA Cup, and now the Champions League is out of the question, we have one chance at a trophy: the Premier League. We are depleted are exhausted, with injuries to Sagna, Flamini, Rosicky and Eduardo the chances may look slim for a win, which is the only result that we can settle for.

A win will bring Chelsea level at the top, and us three points behind those two. The only way we can win even if we get this result is if Chelsea and Man Utd draw at Old Trafford, and they both don’t get all three points in some other match, while we win every remaining game. The chances are slim, but possible. We’ve seen thing that seemed even more impossible than this happen.

Now, about the actually game. Manchester has lost once in Old Trafford this season. Well we have lost once at the Emirates. Ever. We have injuries to Eduardo, Rosicky, Sagna, and Flamini. Manchester only has one injury that might affect them, and that is that of Vidic Gerard Pique or Wes Brown will come in instead of the Serbian. I think that after the performance against Liverpool on Wednesday Wenger will push Eboue to right back, and Toure back into the middle, to make sure that there will be no more blunders from Philippe Senderos. Theo Walcott earns a more than deserved starting place at right wing. Gilberto will come in for Flamini, regrettably.

Possible Starting Team

………………………………………… Almunia

…Eboue……….Toure…………………………………Gallas……..Clichy..

..Walcott………..Gilberto……………………….Cesc……………Helb….

………………..Van Persie…………………………..Adebayor…………….

Anything could happen in this game. Arsenal could have another horrible kill their once-promising season. They might put in the performance of the season and win 2-0. It might end 3-3. This game is, and will always be the most unpredictable game ever.

But as ever, I am with Arsenal, say 2-1. Ronaldo, Walcott and Adebayor to score. This will be one helluva game lads.

I have a feeling that Wenger will play five in midfield with Hleb in the middle and Diaby on the wing, or maybe even Diaby in the middle.

I though Diaby was banned after getting a red at Bolton?
